Suellen Baker is our vision therapy administrator. Her background is in education. She has been teaching at the elementary level for the past 10 years. Primarily, her experience has been with children from 3 months old to third grade. She has cared for, taught, and tested children during her previous employment. She has always been fascinated with how children develop. She feels privileged to be even the smallest influence on development of children. She has two children of her own. Her daughter is now a junior in college studying to become a high school history teacher and is turning out to be an amazing young woman. She is a graduate of vision therapy! She owes a great deal of her daughter’s academic success to vision therapy. She is so grateful to have a job where she can encourage other families through her daughter’s story! Her son is in second grade and he keeps her on her toes! He is bright, funny, and athletic. So far, he doesn’t seem to have any of the visual issues her daughter had to struggle with. As the Vision Therapy Administrator she works with families to guide them through the vision therapy process. She also works within the community to help educate others about the need for vision therapy and the process.
